The Committee meets near the UN in New York the second Thursday of every month from 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Please send an email to Marjones at nyc.rr.com or Tfpisc at hotmail.com to attend. No UN badge is required to attend our meetings.
The mission of the NGO Committee on Child Rights is to promote the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and its Optional Protocols in partnership with governments, UN agencies, particularly UNICEF, other NGO committees and civil society groups. The Committee is composed of international and national NGOs who are committed to the CRC and its Optional Protocols as the essential framework of international human rights standards and ethical principles for childrens' protection and development.
The Committee is a part of CoNGO, the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations. CoNGO has been the voice of NGOs since the founding of the UN.

Annual Membership Fee
The annual membership fee for each individual member is $25 payable at the beginning of the program year in September. We welcome and deeply appreciate financial contributions to the work of the Committee. Checks should be made payable to the NGO Committee on Child Rights and mailed to:
